There are many kinds of manga being released, but what kind of life do Japanese people lead, anyway?
If you’ve ever lived or studied in Japan, you know that it’s just like you do. We live a normal life. In manga and anime, there are works called “daily life(Nichijyo-kei,日常系)” that just plainly depict the lives of the main characters and the people around them.
This time, I’d like to introduce you to a manga about a girl and her dog who just go for a walk. You must be thinking, “Isn’t that interesting? Yes, It is interesting.
The characters are “Rieko”, the owner, and “Ponta”, the “Shiba Inu”. Ponta makes a comment in his mind when Rieko makes a joke. (Dogs can’t talk, you know…)
The interaction between the girls is interesting, but I would like to suggest another way to enjoy the film is to get a glimpse of what life is like in a local city in Japan. For example, when I was a child, I used to play a game where on my way home from school, I would walk home only on the “white line” written on the road. Is that fun? You must be wondering, right? Try it once.
So far, I have mainly introduced fantasy-manga and battle-manga, but since the world of manga is also very deep, I would like to introduce these works as well.
