This is a story of girls and boys living their life in an odd house.

The main character, her name, is EMYLIKO, she is said ”Living-Doll”, and her master Kate’s attendant(servant).

Kate belongs to a noble family of shadows. No one knows their faces, because, their faces cannot be seen by anyone, their faces are black.

There are many mysteries in this manga, but it is better for readers to experience and solve them for themselves. As many of you will notice, this manga is characterized by the large gap between the adorable characters and the black mystery hidden behind them.

At first glance, the story seems to be about cute characters joking around and enjoying their daily lives, but when you see a clan of shadows with their faces painted black in the same panel, you can’t help but read on with a sense of discomfort that prevents you from genuinely enjoying the story.

I think this sense of discomfort is what the author was aiming for, and what makes this manga so interesting.

One more thing, this manga is often compared to “The Promised Neverland”.

This is probably because they are similar in that there is a big mystery lurking within a single mansion. If you’ve finished “The Promised Neverland” and were wondering what manga to read next, this one is for you. Please let me know what you think of it.
